Arthritis is one of the most common debilitating conditions from which at-least one or more family members suffer in every family during their life time. This leads to frequent doctor visits and taking a load of pain killers that seems to be effective for two to three hours and then the pain starts again because there is a limit to the number of pills you can take because of it high profile of adverse effects.

Most patients then turns to unconventional remedies, herbal treatments and homeopathic treatments and when all those fails they fell into the abyss of depression.

All this may now be a story of the past because Of the new "drug-free" gel. Researchers after carrying out six clinical studies which involved 4000 patients have now reached the conclusion that this new gel can effectively reduce pain and improve mobility of patients who suffers from osteoarthritis.

Another study which comprised of 1300 patients found that the efficacy of this gel can be compared with that of NSAIDs, non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs with the added benefit of no negative side effects.

The gel is water based and is comprised of several millions droplets of fat, phospholipids. These phospholipids can easily penetrate the skin and reach the joint providing an extra coat of lubricant to the cartilage of the joint thereby decreasing the friction and reducing the agonizing pain. This also makes movement easy.

The gel which is available by the name "Flexiseq" is product of a company named "Pro Bono Bio " and was developed in germany and is already available in germany and Ireland. The "Federal association of German Pharmacist" has already termed it as "Innovation of the year 2013". At the moment Flexiseq is available from Arthritis Research UK and LloydsPharmacy until January, after that it would be freely available all over UK.

The fact that FLEXISEQ does not contain any pharmaceutically active ingredients means it doesn't contain any drugs that might interact with medication you may be taking for your pain or any other disease thus making it worry-free to use.
